The Language Technology Lab (LTL) conducts research in the domain of language resources and language technologies. It also provides the technological infrastructure, software and language data for the work with language technologies, language resources and linguistic analysis tools. It provides a place for students to gain practical experience with these technologies and get involved in ongoing research and industry level standards related to linguistic resources, computational and quantitative linguistics, text mining and natural language processing.

The LTL is affiliated with: The Institute of Language Information and Technology (ILIT), the Department of English Language and Literature, and the Linguistics Program (see the Language Technology Certificate).
